23.5 degrees south of the equator lies the Tropic of Capricorn. It makrs the furthest south the sun passes overhead on the December 21st summer solstice. going south from here marks the end of our tropical voyage and 10,000 kilometers ridden!!

The second largest canyon in the world is in southern Namibia. heavily faulted when the continents of Africa and South America split, the water in the Fish River has been carving this masterpiece for millions of years
